Celtic Lakes Frisby is a 100 acre coarse fishery set in the heart of rural Leicestershire, only a stone’s throw from the beautiful village of Frisby-on-the-Wreake and only 4 miles from the home of the pork pie, Melton Mowbray. The complex consists of 2 beautifully mature gravel pits and a stretch of the fabulous River Wreake, all three of which abound with wildlife and of course are home to many species of coarse fish to specimen proportions!

We have something for everyone here at Celtic Lakes, whether you just want a few hours relaxing fishing for bits or are targeting one of the big Carp, Pike or Zander that reside in the lakes, we really do have it covered. As our slogan rightly says ... ‘Catch the Dream’.

During your stay you may want to join in with one of our regular open matches that we hold on the lakes - you may even walk away with a cash prize!

We also have our very own professional ADB/PAA level 2 angling coaches on site/ We provide a wide range of fishing courses for anglers of all ages and abilities. We supply all the tackle and bait, you just turn up and catch fish!

If angling isn’t your thing there are some fabulous walks within the 100 acre complex with outstanding views and countless species of birds and wildlife to see. You may even be lucky enough to see our resident kingfisher.
